After the unexpected hit Su From So, Telugu cinema has found another gem — this time in the form of a charming, small-budget romantic comedy.
Mouli Tanuj Prashanth and Shivani Nagaram's film Little Hearts is subtly but resolutely leaving its mark on the box office.
Even on weekdays, the film's strong collections demonstrate how popular it has become since its initial modest release.
Little Hearts gained traction rapidly despite the lack of pre-release hype. It opened to a decent Rs 1.35 crore on Friday, and by Saturday, due to it's positive word-of-mouth, collections jumped to Rs 2.4 crore. Sunday saw the biggest turnout yet, with the film raking in Rs 3.6 crore.

Monday usually sees a dip, but the film still managed a healthy Rs 2.15 crore, it was a clear sign that audiences are connecting with the story.
By Tuesday, early estimates suggest Little Hearts added another ₹1.75 crore to its total, taking its five-day box office earnings to an impressive ₹11.25 crore across India. For a film made on a smaller budget with no major star power, that’s quite an achievement.
In terms of cinema occupancy, the film maintained a strong hold. On Tuesday, the overall Telugu occupancy stood at 39.07%, with night shows seeing a solid 58.08% — proof that viewers are turning up even on weekdays.

Morning shows had 27.55% occupancy, with afternoon and evening shows at 35.25% and 35.38%, respectively.
Alongside its leads, Little Hearts features a talented ensemble cast that includes Rajeev Kanakala, Sathya Krishnan, Anitha Chowdary, Jai Krishna, and SS Kanchi. Sinjith Yerramilli's soundtrack, which resonates with viewers, has also contributed to the movie's charm.
Industry insiders anticipate that if this trend continues then Little Hearts can be one of the most loved Telugu films of 2025.
