Prithviraj Sukumaran and Mohanlal gear up for their highly anticipated Malayalam film, L2: Empuraan. The film is set to hit the theatres on March 27. However, the reports recently have been swirling around that the film may face a delay.

The recent reports have suggested that the release of the upcoming film is uncertain due to financial struggles of the production banner Lyca Productions. Additionally, Mohanlal led Aashirvad Cinemas Pvt Ltd reported to considering removing Lyca Productions and release the movie independently.

However, Mohanlal has indirectly dismissed the rumors surrounding the film's release by sharing a new poster. The photo featured Mohanlal in a stylish look. The movie is still on track to release on March 27.

Prithviraj also shared a new poster on Instagram, featuring Mohanlal dressed in all-black attire. The photo also featured a text that reads, “At your highest moment... be careful! That's when... The Devil comes for you!”

The actor accompanied the poster with the caption, “The greatest trick the DEVIL ever pulled..was convincing the world he doesn’t exist!

Directed by Prithviraj, the upcoming film features a star-studded cast, including Tovino Thomas and Manju Warrier. Mohanlal stars as a grey character named Khureshi Ab'raam aka Stephen Nedumpally. The movie's music is composed by Deepak Dev.
