Kim Kardashian shared the news of her daughter's accomplishment on social media with pride.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's daughter, North West, is taking a significant leap in her young music career. Following her official debut on Ye's track, 'Talking/Once Again', in February, North is performing at The Lion King Concert. This two-night event is a tribute to the legacy of Disney's 1994 classic film, celebrating its 30th anniversary with a star-studded lineup.

The 10-year-old took to the stage at the Hollywood Bowl, performing 'I Just Can't Wait to Be King' on the first night of the event. According to Variety, North will be among an impressive roster of performers, including Jeremy Irons, Nathan Lane, Billy Eichner, Ernie Sabella, Broadway actress Heather Headley, Bradley Gibson, Jason Weaver, and Lebo M. Additionally, North and EGOT winner Jennifer Hudson are highlighted as special guest performers for the concert, per the Hollywood Bowl’s official site.

The Lion King concert marks three decades since the Oscar-winning Walt Disney Animation Studios film first captivated audiences. The event promises to be a grand spectacle, with Emmy-winning costume designer Marina Toybina crafting the costumes. Gabe Turner and Sally Wood are the showrunners, Paul Dugdale serves as the director, and Misty Buckley handles the production design.

In addition to the stellar cast, an orchestra will perform the legendary score by two-time Oscar winner Hans Zimmer from the 2019 live-action remake of The Lion King, conducted by Sarah Hicks. Audiences can look forward to live renditions of iconic songs like 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight', 'Circle of Life', 'Be Prepared', and 'Hakuna Matata'.

The Lion King Concert will be captured as a Disney+ Original special, making it accessible to a broader audience on the streaming platform. This event also aligns with the continued expansion of The Lion King franchise, which includes the upcoming live-action feature 'Mufasa: The Lion King', directed by Barry Jenkins and set to premiere in
December 2024.

Earlier this year, North West made her official singing debut on the track 'Talking', from Kanye West's collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign, 'Vultures 1'. North's contribution to the song, which she also directed and wrote, marked a significant milestone as she became the youngest artist to land on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, peaking at No. 30.
