Netflix's newest crime thriller, Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, has taken the world by storm after its release on March 20. The series has already started trending on streaming platforms in several countries. The series has earned a spot at #7 on Netflix's prestigious Global Top 10 (Non-English TV) List.

Khakee: The Bengal Chapter bagged the trending spots in 12 countries worldwide, including Bangladesh, Bahrain, India, Kuwait, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, UAE, Mauritius, and Nigeria, transcending geographical boundaries.

The sequel follows IPS officer Arjun Maitra as he confronts gangsters and corrupt politicians in West Bengal, led by the powerful don Bagha and politician Barun Roy, after a respected officer's death, aiming to restore law and order.

It is set in Kolkata in the 2000s and explores the story of the state’s corruption, crime and law enforcement. The series is a standalone sequel to Pandey's series, Khakee: The Bihar Chapter.
