The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 began with the show's iconic host, Amitabh Bachchan, welcoming the audience. The episode featured a rollover contestant, Nareshi Meena, who had previously won Rs 50 lakhs. Nareshi, who is a supervisor at the Women Empowerment Department, hails from Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan. Despite battling a life-altering illness, Nareshi’s determination and knowledge earned her a spot on the KBC hot seat. The show highlighted her struggles and the courage with which she has faced them.

Nareshi shared a very personal story with the audience and Amitabh Bachchan. She revealed that she has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and requires expensive proton therapy treatment, costing between Rs 25 to Rs 50 lakhs. Despite these overwhelming challenges, she displayed remarkable courage and positivity. Her story was particularly touching when she shared how this opportunity on KBC was not just about winning money, but about the hope it gave her and her family.Nareshi expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards Amitabh Bachchan and the KBC platform for providing her the chance to change her life.

As the show progressed, Mr. Bachchan read out the Rs 1 crore question for Nareshi. The question was, "Whom did Leela Row Dayal beat to become the first Indian woman to win a singles match at the Wimbledon Tennis Championship?" After a lot of thinking, Nareshi admitted that she was confused between two options, Option B and Option D. Despite the immense pressure, she decided to play it safe rather than risk losing a significant amount of money. She chose to quit the game and took home her winnings of Rs 50 lakhs.

After announcing her decision to quit, Nareshi guessed Option A) Lottie Dod, but it was revealed that the correct answer was Option B) Gladys Southwell. Amitabh Bachchan then praised her for her wise decision to walk away rather than take an unnecessary risk, given her situation. He also acknowledged the emotional strength she displayed throughout the game, which deeply resonated with the audience and viewers alike.

Her journey on Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 was not just about answering questions; it was about resilience, hope, and the human spirit's ability to fight against all odds. Her story highlighted the reality that many contestants bring with them – a story of dreams, struggles, and the hope that knowledge can transform lives.

Reflecting on her journey, Nareshi shared in a press statement that her experience on KBC had been life-changing. She mentioned that she had always watched the show, knowing it had the power to transform lives, and deep down, she believed it could do the same for her. Her goal in participating in the show was to win the prize money necessary for her proton therapy without further burdening her parents, who had already done so much for her. She also expressed that winning on KBC was even more special because it brought pride and joy to her father's eyes, something she had longed to see.

Nareshi thanked KBC for making her dream a reality and expressed her immense gratitude to Amitabh Bachchan for offering to help with her treatment. This gesture of kindness from the legendary actor meant the world to her, and she was deeply touched by his generosity and empathy.

After Nareshi’s departure, the show continued with another round of "Fastest Finger First," which brought a new contestant, Priyanka Porwal from Bengaluru, Karnataka, to the hot seat. The episode then began anew with Priyanka as the next contestant ready to take on the questions for her chance to win the coveted prize money.
