  • Kashish Kapoor will not join reality show The 50 due to scheduling conflicts
  • She was in advanced talks but chose another hosting project over The 50
  • Her recent social media reel on "exposing trend" is gaining online traction

Kashish Kapoor, who has steadily carved a space for herself in the reality television circuit through shows like Splitsvilla and Bigg Boss, was recently in talks to join the upcoming reality show The 50. Her possible entry into the show had already begun generating strong chatter online, with fans and industry insiders speculating about her role in the Banijay-owned format set to premiere on JioHotstar and Colors.

According to sources, Kashish had indeed been approached by the makers and the discussions were far from casual. In fact, the talks had progressed to an advanced stage, with negotiations reaching the payment phase. This development made her participation seem almost certain, further fuelling rumours around her inclusion in the contestant lineup of the high-profile reality series.

Putting an end to the speculation, Kashish chose to address the matter directly through an Instagram story. In a clear and candid note, she explained why the deal ultimately did not go through. She wrote, “Many ppl are speculating whether am doing the 50 or not. So, here it is. Yes, I had been approached and we were in the final stages of negotiating payment however, the dates of another project that I am doing came and that’s clashing with the 50. Thus, due to the lack of availability of dates, I will not be doing the 50. Thanks for all the love though.”

Her statement confirmed that the decision had nothing to do with creative differences or compensation issues, but was purely a matter of scheduling. Sources close to the development reveal that Kashish had already committed to hosting another large-scale reality project, making it logistically impossible for her to accommodate The 50 within the same time frame. While details of the hosting assignment are being kept under wraps, it is expected to be a major format slated for either television or an OTT platform.

Apart from her professional commitments, Kashish has also been in the spotlight for a recent reel where she spoke about the ongoing “exposing trend” on social media, a topic that has struck a chord with many online. The video has been gaining traction, adding to her growing digital presence.

For now, Kashish Kapoor’s association with The 50 remains limited to discussions that reached an advanced stage but could not materialise. Fans, however, continue to look forward to official announcements regarding her upcoming hosting project and future reality TV appearances.
