moviesBollywood actress Kangana Ranaut offered prayers at her home in Himachal Pradesh as counting for the Lok Sabha Polls 2024 began on June 4.
Kangana Ranaut was seen in a simple pink saree with a white blouse. She was seen praying at the temple in their home.
Early trends show that Kangana, who is a BJP candidate from Mandi, is leading in the seat.
Kangana Ranaut is against Congress’ Vikramaditya Singh, who is the son of former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh.
Trends at 10 a.m. showed that Kanaga Ranaut is still ahead.
As one of the four constituencies in Himachal Pradesh, Mandi holds political significance because not only the BJP and the Congress are fighting for their prestige, but it is also the only seat in the state where the left is also participating in the contest.
In the year 2019, the BJP's Ram Swaroop Sharma won the Mandi constituency seat against Congress candidate Aashray Sharma and Dilip Singh Kayath of the Communist Party of India (Marxist).

The BJP had then secured 647,189 votes, surpassing Congress candidates 241,730 votes and CPI (M), which received 14,838 votes.
Similarly, in the 2014 elections, Ram Swaroop Sharma of the BJP emerged triumphant against Himachal Congress Chief's Pratibha Singh, a former two-time MP, by a margin of 39,000 votes. Sharma garnered 3.62 lakh votes compared to Singh's 3.22 lakh votes, securing a clear victory. The CPI's Kushal Bhardwaj finished in third place in that election.
The political inclination of Mandi has also followed the trend of Himachal Pradesh, which has transitioned from Congress to BJP in recent years.
