Thalapathy Vijay is celebrating his 51st birthday, and the makers of Jana Nayagan have made the day more special by dropping the First Roar official teaser. Fans have been looking forward to the highly anticipated first look of Vijay’s last film, and they are not disappointed.

The 65-second teaser starts with Vijay’s voice saying, “You guys will live in my heart.” A text flashes on the screen that reads, “A true leader rises not for power, but for people.”

The teaser then cuts to a striking visual of the actor in a police uniform, walking through a war-torn landscape with a lathi in hand. The Jana Nayagan - The First Roar teaser is receiving rave reviews from the fans.

The powerful first look is now going viral on social media, with fans eagerly waiting for the full-length trailer. The teaser notably surpassed 1 million views on YouTube in just 15 minutes.

However, the makers doubled the excitement of the fans by releasing a birthday special poster of Vijay’s latest film. In the poster, Vijay is seen sitting on a leather throne with gripping a sword. The smoky and intense backdrop teases strength, leadership, and finality.

Besides Thalapathy Vijay, the film features an ensemble cast including Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, Narain and others.

Directed by H Vinoth, the upcoming film is set to be a grand farewell to Vijay’s legacy. The upcoming film is produced by Venkat K Narayana and co-produced by Jagadish Palanisamy and Lohith N.K.

Jana Nayagan - The First Roar is all set to hit the worldwide theatres on January 9, 2026, coinciding with the Pongal weekend.
