Hydrocephalus, often described as “water on the brain,” happens when cerebrospinal fluid builds up in the brain’s ventricles, creating dangerous pressure on brain tissues. Doctors warn it can cause severe complications if left untreated, and the cost of surgery or long-term care often becomes overwhelming for families. Fernandez’s gesture, many say, sheds light on both the medical urgency and the financial strain attached to such cases.
The actress wasn’t alone during her visit. She was accompanied by Hussain Mansuri, a Mumbai-based philanthropist and influencer, who has been vocal about social causes. Together, they not only met the child but also promised continued support—something that struck a chord with many viewers. “It’s heartwarming to see celebrities putting their reach to good use,” one netizen wrote after watching the clip.
This isn’t the first time Jacqueline has been associated with charitable initiatives, but the personal nature of this meeting makes it stand out. Spending time with the child and family, listening to their challenges, and stepping up with a concrete solution, that’s what resonated most.

On the professional front, Jacqueline hasn’t slowed down either. She’s gearing up for her big-screen appearance in Welcome to the Jungle, the third film in the hit Welcome franchise.
Directed by Ahmed Khan, the action-comedy stars Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, and Suniel Shetty, making it one of the most anticipated Bollywood releases of 2025.
