EXO member Kai has officially completed his 21-month mandatory military service as of February 10, 2025, according to a statement from his agency, SM Entertainment.
Kai initially enlisted in May 2023, beginning with five weeks of basic training at the Army Training Center before being assigned to his role as a social service worker. Now, after fulfilling his alternative service duties, he is set to return, marking a highly anticipated moment for his fans.
Kai began his military service as a social service agent on May 11, 2023, surprising fans with the announcement just a week before his enlistment. He later admitted that the sudden enlistment date caught him off guard as well.
