Elvish Yadav supports Divyanka Tripathi amid backlash

TV actor Divyanka Tripathi has recently failed to recognise YouTuber Elvish Yadav on the popular show, Laughter Chefs. She received huge backlash from the critics for not recognising him. However, Elvish has chimed in to support Divyanka following the backlash.

He took to his official X (formerly Twitter) account and urged his fans for kindness. He wrote, “Guys, I don’t use social media much & I’m confused about why people are trolling Divyanka. But guys, she’s super chill & deserves respect!”

He added, “My request: please stop trolling her. Let’s spread kindness instead.” However, Divyanka responded to the support of Elvish and shared that she will elaborate on everything that actually happened at the set.

She tweeted, “Hey Elvish! Sending you back tons of love. Also, hugs to the fans who have been spreading a word not to take the troll route. Someday, I'll narrate to you how it all unfolded and we'll have a good laugh about it!”

However, Divyanka had previously responded to the trolls and wrote, “I want to thank genuine Elvish fans for being nice. True fans, first keep their idol’s respect in mind. Double thanks to the trollers for increasing my engagement.”

She added, “My inner systumm automatically bounces back your foul language to you and your family. Karma! Those being nice shall always be blessed…says my core divinity!”

For the unversed, Divyanka mistook Elvish for Samarth Jurel while introducing him on the stage during the latest episode of Laughter Chefs 2. After announcing Samarth, she went forward and shook hands with Elvish instead and saying, “Hi Samarth.”

Aly Goni, Krushna Abhishek, and others were left in laughter following the blunder. However, Divyanka soon realised her mistake and immediately apologised. She also joked on the show, admitting that the part should be edited out to avoid trolling by Elvish’s fans.
