Choreographer Dhanashree Verma is stepping into a new chapter of her life, one filled with honesty, humour and a readiness to embrace love again.
Speaking on Farah Khan’s vlog, the 28-year-old opened up about her unusual career path, her personal journey, and how she is manifesting a fresh start after parting ways with cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal earlier this year.
Before she became known for her dance videos and choreography, Dhanashree trained as a dentist and even ran two clinics in Bandra and Lokhandwala.
With a laugh, she recalled that some of her patients were well-known celebrities. “I have treated Ranbir Kapoor also once,” she revealed, prompting an instant reaction from Farah. The filmmaker teased, “You looked inside his mouth? How was it? Was it different?” Dhanashree chuckled and replied, “That was my job. It was quite healthy, good hygiene.”
The conversation soon shifted to matters of the heart. While admiring a painting of two birds perched on a branch in Dhanashree’s home, Farah commented, “This is my favourite.” With a smile, Dhanashree responded, “Love birds. I am manifesting (love).” The candid confession took Farah by surprise. “Firse (again)? Very brave of you,” she said, before giving Dhanashree a supportive side hug.

Farah also reflected on how Dhanashree’s life has evolved — from living with her parents, to her marriage with Chahal in 2020, and now, finding her own balance after their separation. Dhanashree confirmed that while the marriage ended, things remain cordial between the two. Their divorce was finalised in March 2025.
On the professional front, she is gearing up for her next appearance in Ashneer Grover’s reality series Rise & Fall, which premieres on Amazon MX Player from 6 September.
