Dhanashree Verma breaks silence on divorce rumours with Yuzvendra Chahal

Dhanashree Verma is no stranger to the spotlight—but these days, she’s in it for reasons more personal than ever.

After going through a very public divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, the choreographer and digital creator has found herself under constant speculation. But instead of retreating, she’s facing it all head-on—this time, with raw honesty on the reality show Rise And Fall.

In a quiet, emotional chat with fellow contestant Arbaaz Patel, Dhanashree finally addressed the whirlwind of rumours surrounding her. She wasn’t trying to play the victim or stir drama—just setting the record straight. “Ye sab jo divorce ki baatein chal rahi hain, vo bilkul hi banai gayi cheezein hain. Maine usko already peeche chhod diya hai (All this talk about the divorce is completely made up. I’ve already left it behind)" she shared.

Arbaaz, clearly moved by her vulnerability, responded with warmth: “Bahar log hamesha kahani banate rahenge, but jo andar feel hota hai vo asli hai. Mujhe bhi kai baar apne struggles samjhane pade hain (People outside will always keep making up stories, but what you feel inside is what's real. Even I’ve had to explain my struggles many times)

The conversation turned more intense when Arbaaz hinted at Chahal’s rumoured new relationship. Dhanashree’s response was calm but firm: “Chhodo mujhe unki baat nahi karni (Leave it, I dont want to talk about it)” That one sentence said it all that she’s choosing peace over pettiness.

But perhaps the most powerful moment came when Arbaaz gently brought up the cheating rumours that have shadowed her name. Without flinching, Dhanashree replied, “Woh toh failayenge na. Faltu baat. Unko darr hai na ke main munh na khol do toh dabayenge na. Arbaaz main batauungi na ek ek baat, aap yeh show aapko peanuts lagega (They’ll obviously spread such things. It’s all nonsense. They’re scared that I might open my mouth, so they’re trying to silence me. Arbaaz, if I start telling you everything, this show will feel like peanuts in comparison)”

Later, she added with a half-smile, “No, I don’t want anyone in my life now. I have been through a lot in my relationship. I’ll be the female Salman Khan of this industry.”
