Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is all set to make history in Indian cinema. She will soon receive a Hollywood Walk of Fame star, becoming the first female Indian artist to be honoured with a star on the popular sidewalk in Los Angeles.
The global map of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has recently announced the list of honourees during the live stream on YouTube, and Deepika is one of them. Fellow Walk of Famers Eugenio Derbez and Richard Blade announced the list on Wednesday.
The list featured 35 famous names from the world of films, TV shows, the music world, Broadway or comedy. The honourees were selected across five categories, which include motion pictures, television, live theatre, and live performance, recording and sports entertainment.
Among the names are Emily Blunt, Timothée Chalamet, Rami Malek, Rachel McAdams, Stanley Tucci, Demi Moore and many more renowned performers.
Deepika has captivated the audience with her powerful roles and stellar performances. However, she is now representing the country at the global stage once again. She was previously named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by TIME in 2018. Additionally, the actress also received the TIME100 Impact Award.

Deepika also marked history by unveiling the FIFA World Cup trophy at the final match in Qatar. The actress is also the first ever Indian to be signed by global luxury fashion houses for Louis Vuitton and Cartier.
On the film front, Deepika made her Hollywood debut with XXX: Return of Xander Cage alongside Vin Diesel in 2017. The actress is currently gearing up for the highly anticipated Atlee’s directorial, tentatively titled AA22xA6, which also stars Allu Arjun in the lead role.
