Bollywood celebrities do not take fitness lightly. While certain roles may require them to look leaner and sharper, their approach now goes beyond that. For them, physical training has become a way of life and a means to keep up with their hectic shoots and travels.

This makes the role of a fitness trainer even more important, and one of the most prominent names in the business is Yasmin Karachiwala, known for training stars like Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, and Deepika Padukone. In a podcast with Bhavishya Sindwani, Yasmin opened up about their fitness secrets and what sets them apart from “normal people.”

Yasmin was all praise for the three actresses, saying, “I think the one thing that all three of them have in common, which most other people don’t have, is commitment and discipline. They are very committed. They know how important working out is for their mental and physical health, and they keep that as a priority.”

She added that going out for parties, lunches, or movies doesn’t “eat into their workout time” and that they make sure to plan their day in a way that ensures they never skip a workout.

Getting Into the Right Shape

Yasmin also shared that she never has to worry about getting them into the right shape because they follow her instructions to the tee and listen to their bodies.

“I am very confident that whatever they set out to achieve, they will, because they are very dedicated. They follow all the protocols. They eat the right way, they work out. If I tell them some days we need to do two hours of workout, they will be there. We break it into splits. Some days I say, ‘Today we just need to do 45 minutes.’ They trust and listen to their body and to me,” she said.
