With the release date of Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated film Coolie set for August 14, 2025, the hype is already in full throttle.
In an eye-catching move, Uno Aqua Care declared a full holiday for all staff members, allowing them to enjoy the film without flooding HR with leave requests.
August 14 will be a designated day off for all branches, including Chennai, Bangalore, Trichy, Tirunelveli, Chengalpattu, Mattuthavani, Arapalayam, and more, according to the company's notice, which has been making the rounds on social media.
However, this gesture is much more than simply allowing staff members to view a movie. The company will distribute candy, give away free Coolie tickets to employees, and donate food to orphanages and senior living facilities in honour of Rajinikanth's 50th anniversary in film. Additionally, they are speaking out against piracy, which is uncommon for a business.
There will be significant box office power to go along with the celebrations. Coolie has already received Rs 5.55 crore in advance reservations, and block seats have increased that amount to Rs 10.27 crore in India alone.
International sales have surpassed Rs 37 crore, and trade analysts anticipate an opening day of at least Rs 100 crore globally. Coolie might have one of the greatest openings for an Indian movie ever if the figures line up as planned.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and featuring Rajinikanth in all his glory, Coolie promises the quintessential Thalaivar experience — high-octane action, emotional drama, and those iconic larger-than-life moments only Rajini can deliver.
