Filmmaker David Dhawan is currently in Scotland shooting for his upcoming film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, alongside stars Varun Dhawan and Pooja Hegde. Actor Chunky Panday, who happened to be in Glasgow, bumped into the veteran director.
Chunky shared a series of nostalgic photos on Instagram on April 29, fondly recalling their time working together on the classic film Aankhen.
He wrote in the caption, "Reunited with the Grandmaster #daviddhawan #aankhen @tipsfilmsofficial #moviemagic #blockbuster."
Chunky Panday’s Instagram post offered a delightful peek into the vibrant atmosphere on the sets of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai in Scotland. The photos featured a cheerful reunion with filmmaker David Dhawan, along with candid moments shared over a meal with cast and crew including Varun Dhawan, Pooja Hegde, Jimmy Sheirgill, Ramesh Taurani, and Rakesh Bedi. Chunky also posted pictures with David's wife Lali Dhawan and writer Farhad Samji, capturing the camaraderie and joy behind the scenes of the much-anticipated film.
However, it is not confirmed if Chunky is a part of the film or he was visiting them as major details have been kept under wraps by the makers about the film. But the actor sure seems to be happy reuniting with David.

For those who may not know, Chunky Panday previously collaborated with David Dhawan on the 1993 hit film Aankhen, where he starred alongside Govinda, Shilpa Shirodkar, and Shakti Kapoor, among others.
Meanwhile talking about the film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, Varun and Pooja had recently announced in March that they have begun filming with their first filming schedule in Rishikesh.
