Dont Say You Love Me returns to Spotify Top 10

BTS member Jin continues to prove his dominance on the global music stage with his latest achievement. As per World Music Awards, his solo single Don’t Say You Love Me has once again found its way into the Spotify Global Top 10, securing the tenth spot.

What makes this resurgence especially noteworthy is the fact that the track had originally premiered at number one, highlighting both its longevity and enduring appeal among worldwide listeners.

The song has already carved out a historic space for itself, becoming the highest-charting release by a K-pop male act in 2025. According to KStar Trend, it also claimed the title of the highest debut for any track by an Asian male artist this year, making it the only one to reach number one on Spotify’s global chart in 2025.

Released on 16 May 2025 as the lead single from Jin’s second solo EP Echo, Don’t Say You Love Me made a swift impact. It first entered the Global Daily Songs chart at number nine before steadily climbing to take the top position by 25 May. In doing so, Jin joined an elite group of artists — alongside Bad Bunny and Playboi Carti — as one of only three to top the Spotify global chart in 2025.

The track’s streaming performance has been nothing short of staggering. Within just 21 days of its release, it surpassed 100 million streams, setting the record as the fastest Asian artist to reach this milestone in 2025. Meanwhile, the parent EP Echo has also been thriving, having already amassed over 200 million streams on Spotify, further cementing Jin’s reputation as a solo powerhouse.

The song’s success extends beyond Spotify as well. In Japan, Don’t Say You Love Me dominated the charts, holding onto the number one spot on Spotify Japan’s daily songs chart for more than two weeks and remaining at the top of Shazam Japan for nearly 20 consecutive days.

By reclaiming its place among the Spotify Global Top 10, Don’t Say You Love Me illustrates not just the durability of Jin’s artistry but also his rising stature as a solo K-pop act. Wherever his future chart journeys take him, his influence across the global music scene is undeniable
