Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar has been creating ripples at the box office ever since it released in December last year. Headlined by Ranveer Singh, the film has stormed past the Rs 4000 crore mark globally, emerging as a massive commercial success. With this milestone, Dhurandhar has officially become the highest-grossing Indian film of all time.

The film has also turned out to be a career-defining project for Ranveer Singh, marking his best performance in terms of both box office numbers and overall impact. Dhurandhar was Ranveer’s 17th film as a lead actor and his first to cross the Rs 1000 crore mark worldwide, further cementing his status as one of Bollywood’s most bankable stars.

Celebrating the achievement, Yash Raj Films took to Instagram and congratulated Aditya Dhar, Jio STudios and the entire team for the historic feat.

The caption read, "DHURANDHAR is not a film… it’s a milestone moment

Praising the director, the post further stated, "As the captain of the ship, Aditya Dhar’s clarity of purpose, fearless storytelling and unwavering commitment to excellence have set a new benchmark for Indian cinema."

Further the post also lauded each and every team member for their relentless work. "We also congratulate every cast member and technician of this brilliant film for giving their all. You are the Dhurandhars who made the thought of the film explode so loudly and so gloriously on the big screen. Thank you for giving us cinema that inspires us to strive forward in the pursuit of creative excellence," the post concluded.

Ranveer quickly commented writing, "My beloved Alma Mater only ever wanted to make you proud!"

With Dhurandhar’s phenomenal run, the cumulative box office collection of all Ranveer Singh films has now reached an impressive Rs 4200 crore and continues to grow. This achievement places Ranveer among an elite group, making him only the sixth Bollywood star to cross the Rs 4000 crore mark at the box office, after Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Ranbir Kapoor.

Throughout his career, Ranveer, who is renowned for his reliability, has produced impressive box office results. In addition to sleeper hits like Dil Dhadakne Do and Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl, his filmography features big hits like Dhurandhar, Padmaavat, and Bajirao Mastani.

Meanwhile, anticipation is already building for Dhurandhar 2, which is scheduled to release in theatres in March 2026. The sequel is expected to further elevate Ranveer Singh’s box office stature and potentially set new records in the Indian cinema industry.
