Huma Qureshi has found herself in the spotlight for her personal life. The Maharani actress is rumoured to be engaged to celebrity acting coach Rachit Singh, and the duo’s recent public appearances have only intensified the speculation.
The two were recently spotted together at a Diwali bash, sparking rumours that they’ve gone public with their relationship. Their joint appearance at the special screening of Huma’s film Thamma also added fuel to the fire. Huma walked the red carpet with Rachit, marking their first official outing together since engagement whispers began circulating last month.
So, who exactly is Rachit Singh?
Born in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, Rachit moved to New Delhi in 2012, where he worked on several modelling projects before relocating to Mumbai in 2016. He pursued a career in entertainment. According to his IMDb profile, Rachit isn’t just an acting coach, he’s also an actor best known for his role in the Hindi drama Karmma Calling.
As a highly sought-after celebrity trainer, Rachit has conducted over 100 workshops and worked with some of Bollywood’s biggest stars, including Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Varun Dhawan, Anushka Sharma, Pooja Hegde, and Gulshan Devaiah.
Earlier this year, reports claimed that Huma and Rachit were engaged after singer Akasa Singh shared a now-viral photo with the couple, captioning it, “Congratulations on your little piece of heaven with the best name, Huma. Had the best night.”
The couple had already sparked dating rumours when Huma attended Rachit’s intimate birthday celebration, where he shared a photo captioned, “A Rose amongst two Thorns … thank u for the celebrations and birthday love,” showing Huma by his side.

While the internet is abuzz with speculation, Huma remains unfazed. Speaking to Bombay Times, she dismissed the rumours and said, “What can I say? People have too much time on their hands. I’m sure when the time is right, I’ll make an announcement. But before I can announce, people have already decided to do it. When it happens, we will let you know.”
On the work front, Huma Qureshi is all set to be seen in Delhi Crime Season 3, where she’ll play Meena, also known as Badi Didi.
