Actress Huma Qureshi was recently in headlines after rumour of her engagement with Rachit Singh started doing the rounds. Adding more spark to the buzz, Huma turned heads at Thamma’s screening as the duo walked hand-in-hand.
Huma looked ravishing as she arrived at the special screening of Thamma in Mumbai on October 18. But what surprised everyone was her walking together, holding hands with Rachit Singh, her rumoured fiancé.
This marked their first public outing since the engagement rumours started in September. Paparazzi videos on Instagram showed the couple in coordinated outfits, smiling and posing together on the red carpet.
According to earlier reports, Huma and Rachit reportedly got engaged in September after dating for over a year. The news gained traction when singer Akasa Singh shared a photo with the couple, captioning it, “Congratulations on your little piece of heaven with the best name, Huma. Had the best night.”
However, Huma never publicly confirmed the engagement. Soon after the rumours surfaced, she shared a cryptic Instagram story from South Korea, writing, “Everyone needs to calm down… and do calm se kaam.”
For context, Rachit Singh is an actor and acting coach. He has been seen accompanying Huma at the Bayaan premiere during the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this year and also attended the wedding of Huma’s close friends Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal in 2024.
