Varun Dhawan kicked off his acting career in 2012 with Student of the Year. The actor has recently completed 13 years in Bollywood. The actor has carved a niche for himself, delivering hits across genres while maintaining a unique charm that resonates with audiences nationwide.

Directed by Karan Johar, Student of the Year introduced Varun alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. While not a blockbuster, the film showcased his youthful energy and screen presence, setting the stage for a thriving career.

Over the past 13 years, Varun has consistently delivered commercially successful films that also earned critical acclaim.

Some of his standout hits include Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014), a fun romantic comedy with Alia Bhatt; Main Tera Hero (2014), a high-energy entertainer; and Badlapur (2015), which saw him delve into darker, intense territory to critical and box-office acclaim.

ABCD 2 (2015) became one of India’s highest-grossing dance films, while Dilwale (2015) consolidated his mainstream appeal.

Other notable successes include Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017), which blended romance with social messaging; Sui Dhaaga – Made in India (2018), a socially rooted story celebrated by audiences and critics alike; Bhediya (2022), a genre-blending horror-comedy; and his recent title Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari (2025), a family drama that struck a chord with urban audiences.
