Actor Bobby Deol is celebrating his 57th birthday on January 27, 2026, and to mark the special occasion, his elder brother and veteran actor Sunny Deol shared a heartfelt post wishing him a happy birthday.
Sharing a series of pictures of the brother duo on Instagram, Sunny wrote in the caption, "Happy Birthday My Little Brother LORD BOBBY."
Born into one of Bollywood’s most celebrated film families, Bobby Deol is the youngest son of the late Dharmendra and the brother of Sunny Deol. While his surname opened doors, sustaining relevance in the industry was never guaranteed.
He made his debut as a leading actor with Barsaat in 1995, a romantic drama that brought him instant recognition and earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
Films such as Gupt, Soldier, Badal, Bichhoo, Ajnabee, and Humraaz performed well at the box office and helped him carve out a distinct space for himself. However, over time, some of his films didn’t succeed, and he faded away from Bollywood, only to make a striking comeback with Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal. Projects such as Class of ’83, Aashram, and Love Hostel reintroduced him to audiences in strikingly new avatars.
These performances marked a clear departure from his earlier romantic hero image and highlighted his willingness to take creative risks. The momentum continued in 2025 with The Ba**ds of Bollywood*, where he portrayed Ajay Talvar, a prominent actor navigating the darker realities of the film industry.
