Salman Khan recently made a memorable appearance at the Red Sea Film Festival 2025 in Saudi Arabia, giving fans a rare glimpse into his honest and unfiltered thoughts on acting.

Known for his larger-than-life screen presence, Salman Khan surprised many by sharing a candid, self-reflective side that felt refreshingly human.

As per India Today, during the on-stage conversation, Salman Khan admitted that he doesn’t see himself as a “great actor” in the traditional sense.

He explained, “Acting has also left this generation. Toh mujhe nahi lagta ki main koi bahut hi kamaal ka actor hoon (Acting seems to have left this generation as well. So I don’t think I am a particularly great actor). You can catch me doing anything, but you can’t catch me acting. Voh hoti hi nahi mujhse (I can’t do it). Jaisa feel hota hai, vaise karta hoon. Bas yahi hai (I simply do what I feel in the moment. That’s all).”

Salman Khan also opened up about the vulnerability of performing emotional scenes. He confessed, “Kabhi-kabhi jab main rota hoon, mujhe lagta hai aap log mujhe par hans dete ho (Sometimes when I cry, I know you guys laugh at me).”

Fans were quick to respond, insisting that they actually empathise with him and often cry alongside his characters—an affirmation of the deep connection Salman Khan shares with his audience.
