Kriti Sanon returned to the runway for Manish Malhotra at Dubai Fashion Week 2026, stepping in once again as the designer’s showstopper and bringing the curtains down on the fashion week in memorable style.
Kriti Sanon’s bond with Manish Malhotra goes far beyond professional collaborations. It is a relationship that has evolved naturally over the years, shaped by mutual respect and genuine affection. From high-profile red-carpet appearances to intimate family celebrations, Manish Malhotra has been a constant presence in Kriti Sanon’s fashion journey.
One of the most meaningful examples of this connection was her sister Nupur Sanon’s wedding, where Kriti Sanon and her entire family chose to wear Manish Malhotra’s creations, reflecting the deep trust they place in his vision.
Having previously walked for the designer at Dubai Fashion Week 2025, Kriti Sanon has become a familiar and much-loved face on his runway. Her return in 2026 felt like a natural continuation of that association.
As the fashion week drew to a close on February 6, her final walk quickly became one of the most talked-about moments, with videos and images flooding social media and earning praise for her elegance and confidence.
Kriti Sanon’s runway look was understated yet striking. With Ramba Ho Ho Ho playing in the background, she walked out in a white skirt and blouse, paired with a sheer dupatta that moved fluidly with every step.
The real showstopper, however, was the intricate pearl detailing that appeared to cascade across the outfit, creating a look that felt both dramatic and graceful. True to Manish Malhotra’s signature style, the ensemble balanced classic glamour with modern restraint.
The look was completed with statement jewellery from Manish Malhotra’s collection. Diamond and emerald-studded earrings, bracelets and a ring added richness and contrast to the monochrome palette, elevating the outfit without overpowering it.
Manish Malhotra’s broader showcase at Dubai Fashion Week 2026 was equally compelling. Titled The Indian Story: Inaya 2026, the collection celebrated Indian craftsmanship through brocades, shimmering sequins and intricately embellished silhouettes designed for festive occasions and red-carpet moments. Jewellery played a central role throughout, with diamond and emerald pieces featuring prominently.
Reflecting on his connection with the city, Manish Malhotra told Gulf News, "Dubai is very close to my heart. I came here first in 1999 to shop for a wedding, and then, I launched my own store at Jumeirah Beach Road in 2005 (which later came to be known as Studio 8) ... I had this long journey with Dubai. Each time I come to Dubai, I find it so inspiring. There's always something new and fabulous."
The show concluded on a warm note as Kriti Sanon and Manish Malhotra took the final walk together, greeted by applause.
