Veteran scriptwriter Salim Khan was rushed to Lilavati Hospital on February 17. He is reportedly now stable and has been kept under close observation.
Salim Khan’s children and wives visited him in the hospital. However, Javed Akhtar, who is a close friend and professional partner to the scriptwriter, was also spotted outside the hospital.
Javed Akhtar, who wore a white kurta and pyjama, was spotted stressed as he entered the hospital. He also didn’t stop for the paps.
The Khan family is yet to officially reveal the reason behind Salim Khan’s hospitalisation. However, the rumours have suggested that the veteran scriptwriter felt 'very giddy' before hospitalisation. He is allegedly diagnosed with a blood clot.
Several members of the Khan family, including Helen, Salma Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Alvira Khan, Arpita Khan and Aayush Sharma, were seen arriving at the hospital in Mumbai.
Salman’s close friend, Iulia Vantur, also visited.
Last month, during Sohail Khan's birthday celebration, Salim Khan was last spotted in public. In November, he celebrated his 90th birthday, which marked a significant milestone in Hindi movie history.
