Officially surpassing the Rs 100-crore milestone at the box office is Thamma, the horror-comedy that has been winning hearts and making people laugh.
The cast and crew were thrilled to reach the milestone, and they celebrated in typical light-hearted fashion by posting a video that fans have been adoring.
In the clip, brothers Aparshakti and Ayushmann Khurrana bring a mix of humour and spooky charm.
Aparshakti starts singing his viral 'Chitti' track from Stree 2 when he realises Ayushmann has somehow entered the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU).
Laughing, he exclaims, “Bhaiyaa, aap bhi? (Brother, you too?) Welcome to the universe,” before jokingly bowing to touch his brother’s feet. Ayushmann responds with warmth, saying, “Ayushmann bhavah.”
Aparshakti adds with a grin, “Even the audience is saying that, that’s why the film has crossed Rs 100 crore."
In his Instagram caption, Aparshakti wrote, “Hum toh soche ki Bicky ki girlfriend hi bhootiya hai Yahan toh humaara apna bhai bhi bhootiya nikla! Par kya karein, khoon ka risstaa hai humaara. (We thought Biki's girlfriend was the ghost, but then our own brother turned out to be a ghost! But what can we do, we're related by blood).”
He added, “Hope you all had a Thammakedaar experience watching 'Thamma'. Thank you for showering so much love on the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe.”
Ayushmann plays Alok in the film, while Aparshakti is fondly remembered for his role as Bittu in Stree and Stree 2.

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Maddock Films, the movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, completing an ensemble that’s contributed to its runaway success.
Earlier this month, Ayushmann reflected on the journey of Thamma, writing, “This family has seen a lot in the last few years. The success of 'Thamma' is like a beautiful, divine light. It is a result of the collective prayers of the young and old present here.”
He also shared a touching memory from the film, saying, “…that’s what my father used to say whenever I touched his feet. When Paresh ji said Ayushman Bhava in the film, it felt like my father, my guardian angel had blessed me.”
