BLACKPINK releases 8th anniversary video from OUR AREA fansign event and BORN PINK concert film screening - watch

The anniversary event was held on August 8, 2024, marking eight successful years since BLACKPINK's debut.

BLACKPINK recently celebrated their 8th anniversary with a special fan sign event, much to the delight of their dedicated fanbase, BLINKS. YG Entertainment released a recap video of the OUR AREA fan sign event, showcasing exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and the members' heartfelt reactions.

The anniversary event was held on August 8, 2024, marking eight successful years since BLACKPINK's debut. A total of 88 fortunate fans were selected to attend the event, chosen for their exceptional expressions of love and support for the group. The recap video provided a glimpse into the emotional and joyous atmosphere as fans got the rare opportunity to meet Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa in person.

The video featured backstage footage where the members shared their thoughts and feelings about the event. Each member expressed gratitude and excitement for the chance to connect with their fans after a long period.

In addition to the fan sign event, the recap video included highlights from the BORN PINK concert film screening. BLACKPINK arrived at the event with great enthusiasm, participating in a special PINKCARPET event where they interacted with fans. The PINKSTAGE event, held on August 9, 2024, featured a meet-and-greet showcase.

Formed by YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK debuted in 2016 with the single album Square One, featuring hits like Whistle and Boombayah. The group, consisting of Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa, has since become a global sensation and a leading force in the Hallyu Wave.
