Badshah is turning up the heat across North America with his Unfinished USA Tour, delivering not just high-energy performances but also moments of humour, surprise, and sharp social commentary.

At a recent stop in New Jersey, the rapper reminded everyone why his shows feel more like a full-blown experience than just a concert.

In a moment that had the entire crowd laughing and cheering, Badshah gave a playful twist to one of his fan-favourite tracks, Tareefan from Veere Di Wedding.
As per News18, just in the heart of his performance, he swapped out the original line “Kinniya Tareefan Chahidi Ae Tenu” (How many compliments do you want) with “Kinni Tariff Chahidiye Trump Ko” (How much tariff does Trump want).

It was a witty nod to former US President Donald Trump and ongoing tariff debates — quick, clever, and totally unexpected.

In addition to generating laughter, that spontaneous lyrics change demonstrated Badshah's exceptional talent for incorporating current affairs into his songs, giving his performances a new, relevant, and intimate feel. Fans talked about the moment, the joke, and the atmosphere as they left, in addition to the music.

The rapper’s North American tour follows a run of sold-out shows in the UK, UAE, and Canada. And whether it's Virginia or Vancouver, Badshah has been pulling massive crowds, thanks to his electrifying stage presence, high production value, and surprise appearances by stars like Nora Fatehi and Mickey Singh. Upcoming stops in the Bay Area, Dallas, Seattle, and Chicago are already building serious buzz.

Off stage, Badshah is also riding high. His new album Ek Tha Raja is packed with hits like God Damn, Jawaab, and Khushnuma, while his dramatic 20 kg weight loss has sparked conversation — and admiration — from fans. He’s been open about achieving it through a disciplined lifestyle, firmly shutting down rumours about using weight-loss drugs like Ozempic.

He also recently made headlines by claiming he wrote the lyrics to Brown Rang, a song long credited to Yo Yo Honey Singh — another move that’s kept him in the spotlight.

Whether it’s with a clever lyric, a killer beat, or a bit of well-timed humour, Badshah is keeping fans hooked. And on this tour, he’s proving that he's more than just a hitmaker — he’s a performer with something to say.
