Pakistani internet sensation Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, who rose to fame with his viral rendition of 'Bado Badi', is once again making waves online—this time with a patriotic twist.
Amid ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, the singer has released a new track titled 'Meray Watan Meray Chaman', intended as a tribute to his country Pakistan.
Netizens took notice of the song right away after it debuted on his official YouTube channel and other social media sites. In the video, Chahat performs his trademark offbeat vocals and unusual lyrics with flair against a backdrop of patriotic imagery, such as images of the Pakistani Army and notable landmarks.
Although it was meant to be a heartfelt ode, the internet couldn't help but turn it into a meme fest, with many viewers finding humour in the singer's unique style and the dramatic presentation.
However, the video keeps gaining popularity, solidifying Chahat Fateh Ali Khan's status as a recurrent viral sensation.
Pakistan just launched an all out attack on India - far worse than any massed nuclear attack. Ok folks - its over. I surrender and order full and unconditional surrender of all Indian forces. This is too much to bear. pic.twitter.com/gYTQdSafbq

The song quickly became meme fodder online, with social media users poking fun at the patriotic video—joking that the singer outshined the Pakistani Army with his performance.
One user wrote, "Cheer up, Ana! We've got a defense that’s more solid than a plate of army-grade tacos, ready to repel any of those sharp attacks from Pakistan like a pro goalie blocking a penalty shot! Our defense systems are so solid, they could double as a fortress for a medieval fair!"

While another netizen commented, "Is that a spoof ? That can't be a serious video." A comment also read, "Even Thanos surrendered his infinity stones to the mighty Chahat Sir!!!" There were even comments like, "We got the vaccine for corona, but the virus? Yeah, still totally incurable."
Addressing the buzz around his viral track 'Bado Badi', it was taken down by YouTube after garnering over 28 million views due to a copyright infringement claim. The song traces its roots back to the classic “Akh Ladi Bado Badi,” originally sung by Noor Jehan for the film Banarasi Thag, featuring Mamtaz.
