Bad Newz, the much awaited Bollywood comedy film directed by Anand Tiwari, premiered in theaters on July 19. With the film currently running in theaters, many fans and moviegoers have been curious about the cast salary and the overall budget of the film. This article delves into the details surrounding the film's financial aspects and provides a comprehensive overview of its plot and production.

Reports suggest that the film’s estimated budget ranges between Rs 30 to Rs 80 crores. This substantial investment highlights the production's scale and the high expectations surrounding its performance. A significant portion of this budget is allocated to the cast salaries, special effects, and marketing efforts to ensure a successful box office run.

According to Siasat, Triptii Dimri, who previously charged approximately Rs 40 lakhs for her role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film "Animal," has hiked her fee post the film's success. For Bad Newz, she has reportedly charged Rs 1 crore. This increase reflects her rising star power and the critical acclaim she has garnered in recent years. On the other hand, Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk's fees for the film are yet to be revealed, but it is anticipated that they have also received substantial remunerations, considering their popularity and demand in the industry.

"Bad Newz" is an unconventional, rare comedy centered around the peculiar concept of heteropaternal superfecundation. Saloni Bagga, the film’s protagonist played by Triptii, finds herself in a unique situation where her twin pregnancy is fathered by both Akhil Chadha (Vicky) and Gurbir Pannu (Ammy). This twist of fate sparks a wild rivalry between the two men as they compete for Saloni’s love and the affection of their children, leading to a series of chaotic and humorous events.

The film explores themes of love, rivalry, and the complexities of modern relationships through a comedic lens. The unique storyline sets it apart from typical Bollywood romantic comedies, promising audiences an entertaining and thought-provoking experience.

Directed by Anand Tiwari, "Bad Newz" features an ensemble cast including Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk in the lead roles. Ananya Panday makes a cameo appearance, adding star power and intrigue to the film. Additionally, the movie boasts supporting performances from Neha Dhupia, Karan Aujla, and Tarun Dudeja, each contributing to the film's dynamic narrative.

Anand Tiwari, known for his directorial prowess and ability to blend humor with heartfelt storytelling, brings his unique vision to "Bad Newz." The director's previous works have been well-received, setting high expectations for this latest venture. The combination of Tiwari’s direction, a stellar cast, and an intriguing plot promises to make "Bad Newz" a memorable addition to the Bollywood romantic comedy genre.

Despite the film's promising premise and star-studded cast, early reviews on social media platforms like Twitter have been mixed. Some viewers have expressed that "Bad Newz" did not live up to the hype, citing that the execution did not fully leverage the unique storyline. However, others have praised the film for its bold approach and humorous take on unconventional themes. As more audiences flock to theaters, it remains to be seen how the film will fare in the long run.
