Watch Teaser: Ashneer Grover to host Rise and Fall, new unscripted series

Ashneer Grover, one of the former judges from Shark Tank India, has frequently made headlines with his bold personality. The entrepreneur, who also appeared on Bigg Boss 18 alongside Salman Khan, is now preparing for his return to television. This time, he will be hosting an exciting unscripted reality series called Rise and Fall.

A teaser for the show was released on Thursday, January 30, generating buzz among fans eager to see what Ashneer brings to the small screen next. The show promises to be filled with high-stakes drama and unexpected twists, making it a highly anticipated addition to the reality TV scene.

In the teaser released by MX Player, Ashneer Grover gives a glimpse into the concept of Rise and Fall, using a building as a metaphor. He explains how the upper floors are dominated by the powerful and wealthy individuals who "make the whole world dance," while those at the bottom, with less influence, are the ones "forced to dance."

Grover also teases a game that will be filled with plenty of double standards, promising an engaging and unpredictable experience for viewers. The teaser has piqued interest, setting the stage for a thrilling and intense reality show.

Reworking his famous line from Shark Tank India, he says "Lekin kismat ka doglapan mujhse behtar kaun jaanta hai?" (Who knows the duality of destiny better than me?)"

Describing Rise and Fall as the ultimate reality show of power, Ashneer reveals that it will feature 16 prominent personalities who will be confined in a building for 42 days. He also discusses how the less powerful participants will have the opportunity to overthrow the wealthy ones and climb to the top positions.

The teaser was captioned as, "Rulers upar, workers neeche. Par kaun banega sabka boss?" (Rulers o;n top, workers below. But who will become everyone's boss?)."

Currently, further details about the show, including the streaming date and the list of participants, have yet to be announced. Additionally, Ashneer Grover's Rise and Fall is an adaptation of the international show with the same title.

For those who may not know, in March 2022, Ashneer Grover was removed from his position as managing director of BharatPe by the company’s board of directors. Before his dismissal, Grover had gained significant recognition as one of the investors, or "sharks," on the first season of Shark Tank India. His direct, no-nonsense approach made him a standout figure on the show, earning him widespread attention from viewers.
