Salman Khan has reportedly taken additional security measures at his Mumbai residence, Galaxy Apartment, following a series of death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. A video clip shared on January 5, by the paparazzi shows workers making significant changes to the building’s exterior. The apartment has been undergoing changes, securing windows and modifying the balcony structure to enhance safety, reports Times of India.
The actor has been seen with a heavy security detail during public appearances in recent months, and now his home appears to reflect similar precautions.
Despite the ongoing threats, Salman celebrated his 59th birthday on December 27, 2024, in style. After an intimate gathering at his sister Arpita Khan Sharma’s home in Mumbai, Salman and his family traveled to Jamnagar, Gujarat, where a grand celebration was hosted at the Ambani family residence. The event featured customised decorations and a dazzling firework display in honour of the actor.
On the work front, Salman is gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated action entertainer Sikandar, slated for an Eid 2025 release. Directed by AR Murugadoss and presented by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film boasts a stellar cast, including Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Prateik Babbar, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sharman Joshi.
The makers recently released a 1-minute-41-second teaser as a birthday treat for Salman’s fans. The teaser showcases the superstar in high-octane action sequences set to a catchy background score. Salman’s impactful dialogue, “Suna hai ki bahut saare log mere peeche pade hain, bas mere mudne ki der hai” (Heard that a lot of people are after me, just waiting for me to turn), has already become a hit among fans.
