Anupamaa written update, July 17: Anupamaa learns about Rahi being her competitor; confronts Prem

In the latest episode of Anupamaa, the show is getting all the more interesting with each passing episode. In today's episode, it starts with Anupamaa getting late and because of the rains, Sarita urges her to take the bus. On the other hand, Pari tells Rahi not to keep waiting at Monohar's house and instead explore the city of dreams.

Manohar also agrees to let her go, as he is waiting for Anupamaa to teach Rahi dance.

While Anupamaa reaches Manohar, he tells Anupamaa that Rahi has forgotten her purse and that she should return it to her.

However, they have a bit and miss situation. Manohar tells Anupamaa to take care of the purse. He tells Anupamaa that if destiny permits, they shall meet soon. Furthermore, Rahi expresses that she does not like Mumbai.

Parallel to this, Parag talks about his construction plans with Gautam, Anil and Prem. Here Prem talks about Rahi and Anupamaa however, Parag states that Rahi is capable of handling situations herself. Later Manohar tells Anupamaa that she has to teach dance at an orphanage.

While this drama goes on, Sarita tells Anupamaa why she interferes in other people's family issues. AnAnupamaa justifies her actions by saying that she is only trying to help, but Sarita snaps at her, claiming that she finds a husband abusing his wife acceptable.

Anupamaa talks about self-respect. This triggers Sarita and she says that she is quitting the competition, leaving everyone shocked.

Parallel to this, Paritosh gives Ansh money for the ration and tells Pakhi that she should also give. Later, Pakhi and Paritosh get into an argument, as the latter expresses doubt about her chances to win because of Pari.

Looking at all of this, Leela remembers Anupamaa.

Returning to the competition, Anupamaa attempts to persuade Sarita, but Preet informs her that it is Sarita's decision and she can do whatever she wishes. Preet then holds Anupamaa responsible for Sarita's decision.

Bharti then proposes a solution in which Anupamaa would take her place.

Later, Rahi and Pari go to the orphanage, where Manohar arrives with Anupamaa.

Anupamaa comes to know that Rahi is her competitor and confronts Prem about the same.
