Anupamaa episode written update August 8: Pakhi plans to expose Anupamaa

Leela urges her to prepare for the finale. Anupama and the dance ranis practise while juggling wedding arrangements.

In today’s episode, Anupama greets Rahi and compliments her appearance, but Rahi pointedly ignores her. Anupama requests that she behave normally until Ansh and Prarthana’s wedding, promising to leave afterwards. Rahi reluctantly agrees.

Later, Anupama wakes from a dream and decides to rehearse her dance. Leela urges her to prepare for the finale. Anupama and the dance ranis practise while juggling wedding arrangements.

Outside, neighbours make sly remarks about the upcoming wedding. One woman notes that Leela’s daughter-in-law is expecting, prompting Leela to sharply order them away. Anupama is startled by her fiery reaction.

Privately, Leela frets over Ansh marrying Prarthana, who is divorced and pregnant, fearing he may be repeating Vanraj’s mistakes. She doubts whether Ansh can truly accept another man’s child, citing past struggles in the family.

Anupama reassures her that Ansh is not like Vanraj, recalling how Anuj had accepted a child not his own. Still, Leela laments that relationships rarely thrive in the Shah household. Anupama comforts her and reveals a surprise.

Preparations for the mehendi are under way, with the Shahs discussing the surprise. Ansh asks Kinjal if Pari will attend; she admits she did not invite her. Hasmuk advises Ansh not to be upset, but Ansh insists the celebration will feel incomplete without his sisters. Soon, Rahi, Mahi, and Pari arrive. Rahi presents Prarthana with a diamond set from Parag. Sarita is astonished, and Anita notes its authenticity. Prarthana hesitates, but is persuaded to accept. Pakhi notices Sarita and Anupama behaving oddly.

Later, Preet and Bharti help Anupama dress, observed by Rahi. Hoping to reconcile, Anupama approaches her, but Rahi warns her to stay away.

In the episodes ahead, Rahi challenges Anupama and the dance ranis to a dance-off. Paritosh films Sarita handing something to a stranger, while Pakhi plots to expose Anupamaa.
