Fans were thrilled to know that comedy film No Entry was coming back with a sequel. As per reports, No Entry 2 was initially set to cast Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh. However, later there were speculations about Diljit backing out. Director Anees Bazmee has now spoken about it.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 director Anees Bazmee spoke about the ongoing speculations about Diljit Dosanjh exiting the project.
In retrospect, Bazmee revealed that he frequently finds himself collaborating with actors he hadn't initially selected. He underlined that the fact that the movie is progressing is what really counts to him, and that in and of itself gives him great joy.
Anees candidly stated that he approaches each project with complete sincerity, while trusting the outcome to a higher power. Even when he’s had to rely on second or third choices for casting, he remains focused on giving his best and letting destiny play its part. “Once these films got released, audiences felt that those actors fit the characters perfectly and nobody else could’ve pulled off those parts the way they did," he added.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 director Anees Bazmee Anees also reminisced about his conversations with Diljit Dosanjh, stating that they were both sincere in their desire to work together on the movie. But things didn't work out as planned.
Looking back on their initial encounter, Anees Bazmee revealed that he and Diljit Dosanjh only spent twenty minutes together. It's interesting to note that the singer never even heard the entire script. However, he immediately recognised the core of the narrative and approved the project.

Sharing a brief but telling moment, he then recounted their second meeting — one that lasted barely ten seconds — during which Diljit candidly cited scheduling conflicts as the reason for backing out. He said,“We were discussing his dates because there was a bit of back and forth. He told me that he’s trying to work out his dates. Boney ji was also there."
The 2005 film No Entry starred Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor Fardeen Khan, Celina Jaitly, Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta and Esha Deol in key roles.
