Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has sold his office space in Lower Parel, Mumbai, for Rs. 8 crore. The deal was registered in April 2025, according to property records available on the official website of the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) and shared by Square Yards.
The office is located in a well-known commercial building called One Lodha Place. The property has a carpet area of around 1,146.88 square feet (106.56 square meters) and comes with two car parking spaces. As part of the transaction, stamp duty of Rs. 48 lakh and registration charges of Rs. 30,000 were paid.
Lower Parel is one of Mumbai’s most popular areas for both homes and offices. It has excellent connections to major business areas like Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) and Nariman Point. Many other Bollywood celebrities, such as Abhishek Bachchan, Shahid Kapoor, Amish Tripathi, and Manoj Bajpayee, also own properties in this area.
This is not the first time Akshay Kumar has made a profitable property deal. He had bought an apartment in December 2020 for Rs. 4.85 crore and recently sold it for Rs. 8 crore, showing a 65% increase in value.
One Lodha Place is a commercial project by Macrotech Developers Limited. It covers 1.08 acres and offers office spaces ranging from 179 sq. ft. to 27,392 sq. ft. According to Square Yards Data Intelligence, there were 8 property transactions worth Rs. 618 crore in One Lodha Place between May 2024 and April 2025. The average price in the building is Rs. 48,000 per square foot.
