Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan reunite for Haiwaan

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has earned another Priyadarshan film co-starring Saif Ali Khan. Akshay took to his social media and announced his next project.

Akshay is collaborating with Saif after 18 years in the upcoming film, Haiwaan. The actor announced in the caption, “Hum sab hi hain thode se shaitaan… Koi upar se Saint, koi andar se Haiwaan (We all are a little bit devilish... some are saints from outside, some are devils from inside).”

Meanwhile, veteran actor Asrani has also confirmed that he will be a part of the film. In a recent interview with BBC Hindi, Asrani revealed that he has already completed filming Priyadarshan’s film Bhooth Bangla starring Akshay Kumar, Tabu, Paresh Rawal, and others.

He also revealed that the shooting of the upcoming film will begin in September.  “Abhi shooting September mein shuru ho rahi hai. Film ka naam hai Haiwan. Priyadarshan director hai (The shooting is starting in September. The film is called Haiwaan, and it’s directed by Priyadarshan).”

Venkat K. Narayana and Shailaja Desai Fenn are co-producers of Haiwaan, which is produced by KVN Productions in collaboration with Thespian Films. Filming for the movie began today in Kochi and will continue in Ooty and Mumbai. According to reports, Haiwaan is a remake of the 2016 Malayalam movie Oppam, which starred Mohanlal in the lead. Further details of the film have been kept under the wraps.
