Ajaz Khan not reachable after Rape allegations made on him

A woman's complaint accusing actor Ajaz Khan of rape has put him in serious legal hot water. The Charkop Police Station in Mumbai received the First Information Report (FIR). However, according to news agency ANI, Khan is currently unreachable by authorities.

Since the complaint was filed, his phone has been "switched off" and he has not been reachable, according to the Mumbai Police.

A spokesperson from the police stated, “Case registered at Charkop Police Station against actor Ajaz Khan for allegedly raping an actress.” Efforts to reach him have been unsuccessful so far. “Police tried to contact him after registering the FIR, but his number has been switched off since then. He is not in contact with the Police. The Police reached him, but he was not present there. Police are searching for him,” the statement continued.

In the midst of this unfolding controversy, Khan took to Instagram on Monday to share a set of pictures, along with a cryptic caption that read, “It hurts when your biggest effort is ignored and your smallest mistake is judged.” His post has raised eyebrows given the seriousness of the allegations against him.

Ajaz Khan is also involved in another controversy involving House Arrest, the newest reality show he hosts on the Ullu app. Khan and the app's owner have been summoned by the Amboli Police after the platform was alleged to be streaming offensive material. They have been told to come and be questioned by the investigating officer.

Political and social groups have strongly criticised House Arrest, which went live on streaming services on April 11, 2025. Twelve contestants—nine women and three men—are imprisoned in an opulent villa in what is billed as an uncensored version of reality shows like Bigg Boss and Lock Upp. Public outrage has been triggered by the show's format and content, particularly after a contentious clip from the series went viral online. Calls for government regulation of such content have intensified in recent weeks.
