Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's sister-in-law  Shrima Rai replies to online trolls over using the actress' name for fame, says, " I have NEVER tried to open any business with anyone's name..."

Shrima Rai recently received lot of criticism for not posting photos of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan or Aaradhya Bachchan on Instagram.

Shrima Rai, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's sister-in-law and the wife of Aditya Rai, recently responded to trolls on social media addressing accusations that she was using her association with Aishwarya Rai to seek attention and fame.

Shrima Rai, a former banker turned beauty blogger, addressed online trolls in an Instagram post following a recent story where she shared a picture of a bouquet, thanking Abhishek Bachchan's sister Shweta and her husband Nikhil Nanda. She also addressed  the backlash she has been facing for not posting enough photos with Aishwarya.

The post read, “Facts. My birthday was November 21 and as usual flowers were sent. I thanked everyone with a shout out. Before I became a blogger/ content creator I was a banker in Wealth Management for several years. I have also been a Gladrags Mrs. India Globe 2009. Post 2017, I transitioned into blogging. I have NEVER tried to open any business with anyone's name. I am clarifying things because these are facts. I have built an independent career as a content creator for years on my own and as a woman I find it in poor taste of anyone to try to tear that fact down. For this my husband, mother in law and parents can vouch for that. As a mother it is extremely important to me that facts are clear when my name is involved."

Shrima Rai recently received lot of criticism for not posting photos of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan or Aaradhya Bachchan on Instagram. While Shrima rarely shares pictures of the actress, with the last one posted in May, she addressed the issue by explaining her choice. She stated that she prefers being recognized for her own achievements rather than for her connections.

Moreover, on November 26, Shrima Rai had also shared an Instagram story featuring  a stunning bouquet of pink roses, sunflowers, and other flowers sent by Shweta Bachchan Nanda and her husband, Nikhil Nanda. While she expressed gratitude in the post, the story was later deleted, fueling further speculation about her relationship with the Bachchan family and Aishwarya Rai.
