The documentary Valley of Gods, Jamnagar, recently released on Jio Cinemas, captures the grandeur of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's Hastakshar ceremony, showcasing the extravagant pre-wedding celebrations.
The film offers a glimpse into the star-studded festivities, featuring Bollywood icons like Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and their daughter Aaradhya, among many others. The trio was seen enjoying the occasion, with Abhishek and Aishwarya twinning in beige outfits while seated together, accompanied by Aaradhya, who spent quality time with her parents.
The documentary's teaser surfaced amid ongoing rumors of marital discord between Abhishek and Aishwarya. Addressing the speculation, Aishwarya recently posted a touching birthday tribute for her father-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan, sharing a sweet picture of Aaradhya with him, captioned, "Happy Birthday Pa-Dadaji...God Bless always."
The documentary goes beyond the Bachchans, featuring a host of Bollywood celebrities who attended the festivities. Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Rani Mukerji, and Ranbir Kapoor were among the prominent names who joined Nita and Mukesh Ambani in celebrating their son Anant's wedding. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh also made a memorable appearance, performing an aarti, while Sanjay Dutt was seen sharing a warm hug with Salman. The event also highlighted Shah Rukh's daughter, Suhana Khan, who was mesmerized by a dance performance by Tushar Kalia.
Radhika Merchant stole the show as she walked down the aisle to the song "Dekha Tainu," setting the stage for an unforgettable celebration. In the documentary, Nita Ambani expressed her heartfelt sentiments, saying, "Jamnagar holds a special place in our hearts. When it came to my youngest son Anant's wedding, I had two important wishes. First, I wanted to celebrate our roots. Second, I wanted it to be a tribute to our arts and cultures."

Other highlights included Mela Rouge, a carnival, Shubh Hashtakshar, and Maha Aarti. The festivities extended beyond Jamnagar, with an international cruise event held a couple of months later.
The wedding itself was a grand three-day affair at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, marked by ceremonies such as Shubh Vivah, Shubh Aashirwad, and Mangal Utsav, encapsulating the opulence and cultural grandeur synonymous with the Ambani family's celebrations.
