Abhishek Bachchan shares cryptic post about 'wanting to disconnect', writes, "Main ek baar laapata hona chahta hoon"

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan recently took to Instagram to share a cryptic and deeply introspective note that has left fans both intrigued and concerned. Known for his composed demeanor and thoughtful presence, Abhishek’s latest post hints at emotional fatigue and a longing for solitude. His message sheds light on the often-unseen emotional strain that comes with constantly giving to others, and the need to occasionally withdraw in order to reconnect with oneself.

In his Instagram post, Abhishek wrote,
“Kabhi kabhi khud se milne ke liye, sab se ‘missing’ hona padhta hai. Main ek baar lapata hona chahta hoon, bheed mein khud ko firse paana chahta hoon. Jo kuch bhi tha, sab de diya apno ke liye, ab zara sa waqt bas apne liye chahta hoon.”

The message, both poetic and poignant, translates to a desire to temporarily go off the radar—not out of despair, but out of a need to reflect and rediscover. His words convey a sense of quiet yearning for balance, a breather from the expectations of being constantly available and emotionally invested in others.

The quote, “Main ek baar lapata hona chahta hoon, bheed mein khud ko firse paana chahta hoon,” particularly resonates with many, suggesting a search for self in the chaos of life. It echoes a sentiment that is increasingly relevant in today’s fast-paced world—sometimes, you need to step away to find clarity.

On the professional front, Abhishek Bachchan is set to appear in Raja Shivaji, a historical epic directed by Riteish Deshmukh. He recently shared the film’s motion poster on social media with the caption,
“Privileged and honored to present a cinematic tribute to India’s legendary warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj!”

The star-studded cast includes Sanjay Dutt, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, Bhagyashree, Fardeen Khan, Genelia Deshmukh, and others. The multilingual film will release on May 1, 2026, across six languages including Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Abhishek was last seen in Housefull 5, an ensemble comedy featuring big names like Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sanjay Dutt, and Nana Patekar among others.

While fans eagerly await his next on-screen appearance, his recent post reminds everyone that behind the celebrity persona lies a human being navigating the same emotional landscapes as anyone else. His words act as a gentle reminder of the importance of mental well-being and self-reflection in the midst of life’s relentless demands.
