Exit Polls 2024: Date and Time

Exit polls, conducted immediately after the final voting ends, serve as a penultimate spectacle, broadcasting the potential winners and expected results before the official announcements. As per the rules outlined by the Election Commission, exit polls are permitted to be published 30 minutes only after the last vote has been cast for the elections.

The poll panel has prohibited poll survey agencies and media companies from releasing any exit polls until the conclusion of the voting process.

Exit polls, conducted by survey agencies, aim to gauge public opinions and sentiments by collecting feedback from voters after each phase of polling. Subsequently, this data is used to make projections about the potential outcome of the elections. Exit polls serve as a compass to indicate the direction in which the country is headed and which political party leaders are likely to be in the majority.

As India's second longest Lok Sabha Elections conclude on June 1 at 6:00 pm, exit polls will commence by 6:30 pm.
