Through CSE 2026, UPSC will fill 933 vacancies. These posts are across various Central Government services. Selection will follow a three stage examination process. UPSC CSE 2026 Eligibility and Rules for Serving Officers

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree qualification. The age limit is between 21 and 32 years. Upper age relaxation applies for reserved categories. UPSC clarified rules for serving officers. Officers in IAS, IPS or IFS cannot reappear. They must resign before appearing again.
