The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board released the UP SI Exam City 2026 details on March 6. Candidates applying for Sub-Inspector recruitment can now check their allotted exam city and date online.
The exam city slip allows applicants to know their exam district, shift schedule and reporting time before the admit card release. Candidates can download the city intimation slip using their registration number and date of birth through the official portal.
The recruitment drive is being conducted for Sub-Inspector Civil Police and equivalent posts under advertisement number PRPB-B (Sub Inspector Cadre) – 03/2025. According to the board, more than 15,75,760 candidates registered for 4,543 vacancies. The written examination will take place on March 14 and March 15, 2026 across several centres in 75 districts.
The exam will be conducted in offline OMR-based mode with two shifts scheduled each day. The morning shift examination will begin at 10 am, while the afternoon shift will start at 3 pm. Candidates must check their city slip carefully because it displays their allotted exam city, exam date and shift information.
