The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) announced the Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) results for Class 12 on May 6, 2024, at 9:30 AM. The overall pass percentage was reported at 94.56%. Breaking it down by gender, girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 96.44%, compared to the boys' pass rate of 92.37%.

The TN Class 12 board exams were conducted from March 1 to March 22, 2024. These exams took place in a uniform single shift schedule from 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM across various centers. A substantial turnout saw more than eight lakh students participate in this year's examinations.
