MHT CET 2026 Schedule: The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell of Maharashtra has released the tentative schedule for the MHT CET 2026 exams. This time, the authority has introduced a two-session format for the engineering and pharmacy entrance tests. With this change, students will get an additional chance to improve their scores or manage their preparation better. The new structure also brings Maharashtra in line with other states that already offer multiple exam windows for major entrance tests.

The schedule includes separate dates for PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) groups. Students have been advised to check the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org, for regular updates.

MHT CET 2026: Two Sessions for PCM and PCB

For the 2026 cycle, the MHT CET will be conducted in two sessions. The tentative dates shared by the CET Cell are as follows:

Session 1

  • PCM group: 11 to 19 April 2026
  • PCB group: 21 to 26 April 2026

Session 2

  • PCB group: 10 to 11 May 2026
  • PCM group: 14 to 17 May 2026

The first session will help students take the exam earlier in the year, while the second session will give them another chance to improve their score or pick a date that suits their preparation schedule.

The two-session structure is expected to make the exam process more flexible. Students can attempt the first session and then use the time before the second session to revise based on their performance. This may help them manage stress and plan revision in a more structured way.

Along with MHT CET for engineering and pharmacy, the CET Cell has also shared tentative dates for other professional courses, beginning from late March 2026. These include exams for B.Ed, Law, MBA, MCA, and various other programmes. Some of the important dates are:
