KVS NVS Admit Card: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the KVS NVS Admit Card 2026. The admit cards have been issued only for candidates who applied for 15,762 teaching and non-teaching posts under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS). Candidates can download their admit cards from the official websites at www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/recruitment.html, www.kvsangathan.nic.in and www.navodaya.gov.in.

The KVS NVS recruitment examination will be conducted in offline mode on 10 and 11 January 2026. The exam will be held in two shifts on both days. The morning shift will take place from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, while the afternoon shift will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. More than 15 lakh applications have been accepted this year.

The admit card contains important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam centre address, reporting time, shift timing and exam day instructions. Candidates are advised to carefully check all the details mentioned on the admit card and report any discrepancies to the authorities at the earliest.

This is the first time CBSE is conducting a common recruitment examination for both KVS and NVS posts. The Tier 1 examination will be held across various centres in the country. The exact exam centre details have been shared through the candidates’ respective admit cards.

Selection Process

The selection process for KVS and NVS recruitment includes three stages. Tier 1 will be an offline OMR-based examination conducted in pen and paper mode. Tier 2 will consist of objective and descriptive papers. The final stage will include a skill test or interview, depending on the post applied for.

How to Download KVS NVS Admit Card 2026

Steps to download the admit card:

  1. Visit the official website at www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/recruitment.html or www.kvsangathan.nic.in or www.navodaya.gov.in.
  2. On the homepage, look for the link titled “Recruitment of Various Teaching & Non-teaching Posts in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti”.
  3. Click on the “Admit Card” link. A login page will appear on the screen.
  4. Enter your registration number, password and the security pin shown on the screen.
  5. Submit the details, check the information on the admit card and download it. Take a printout for exam day use.

In case a candidate forgets their registration number or password, they can click on the “Forgot Registration Number” or “Forgot Password” option on the login page and follow the instructions to recover their details.

Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre well before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card and carry a valid photo identity proof along with the printed admit card.
