Kerala TET 2025: June Notification OUT, registration begins ktet.kerala.gov.in; link to apply here

The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has released the notification for the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) June 2025 session. Online registration for the exam has begun at the official website ktet.kerala.gov.in and will remain open until 10 July 2025.

KTET is a state-level exam conducted to evaluate the eligibility of candidates who wish to teach in government and aided schools in Kerala. The certification is mandatory for various teaching levels and categories.

The exam will be held over two days in two shifts daily:

• Shift 1: 10 am to 12:30 pm
• Shift 2: 2 pm to 4:30 pm

KTET 2025 will be conducted for the following four categories:

• Category 1: For Lower Primary classes
• Category 2: For Upper Primary classes
• Category 3: For High School classes
• Category 4: For Language teachers, specialist teachers, and physical education teachers

Each paper consists of 150 multiple-choice questions, to be completed in 2.5 hours. Candidates must score at least 60% to qualify. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, there is a 5% relaxation.

2. Click on "KTET June 2025 Registration" This will redirect to the application page.
3. Provide accurate personal, academic, and communication information.
4. Upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature as per instructions.
5. Pay the fee. Rs 500 for General/OBC and Rs 250 for SC/ST/PwD categories. Payment can be made online.
6. Review all details, submit the form, and download a copy for reference.

Candidates who clear the KTET will be eligible to apply for teaching positions in government, aided, and select unaided schools across Kerala. As per updated NCTE guidelines, the KTET certificate is now valid for life.
