The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Kerala, has officially started the Kerala Plus One Admission 2025. Eligible students who have cleared the SSLC examinations can now apply through the official portal – hscap.kerala.gov.in. The last date for submitting applications is May 20, 2025.

The Kerala SSLC results 2025 were declared on May 9, while the Plus Two (Class 12) results will be announced on May 21. The SSLC SAY (Save a Year) exams are scheduled from May 28 to June 2, 2025.

The admission process will follow a structured timeline:

  • Trial Allotment: May 24, 2025
  • First Allotment: June 2, 2025
  • Second Allotment: June 10, 2025
  • Third Allotment: June 16, 2025
  • Commencement of Classes: June 18, 2025
  • Seat Availability

Kerala Education Minister V. Sivankutty stated that a total of 4,74,917 seats are available for Plus One admissions, including 4,41,887 regular seats and 33,030 vocational higher secondary seats. Additionally, 61,429 ITI seats and 9,990 polytechnic seats have been allocated, bringing the total number of higher secondary seats to 5,46,336. The entire admission process is expected to conclude by July 23, 2025.

How to apply for Kerala Plus One Admission 2025?

Students must follow these steps to complete their applications:

Step 1. Visit the official website – hscap.kerala.gov.in.
Step 2. Register via the "CREATE CANDIDATE LOGIN-SWS" link.
Step 3. Fill in personal, academic, and school preference details.
Step 4. Upload necessary documents.
Step 5. Note down the application number for future reference.
